This page describes how Wabi Sabi Contractors, LLC obtains and manages consent for SMS/text message communications with customers and crew members.
How We Obtain Consent
Customer Consent (Verbal — During Service Calls)
When a customer calls our service line, our AI-powered dispatcher provides the following verbal disclosure before collecting any phone number:
“This call may be recorded and handled by an automated assistant. By providing your phone number, you consent to receive text message updates from Wabi Sabi Contractors regarding your service request, including technician ETA, arrival notifications, and job completion updates. Message frequency varies based on your service request, typically 3 to 8 messages. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP for assistance.”
This disclosure is read during every inbound call before any SMS messages are sent. The call recording serves as a record of verbal consent.
Customer Consent (Web-Based)
When customers interact with our online rate approval or service request forms, they are presented with an opt-in checkbox (unchecked by default):
[ ] I agree to receive text messages from Wabi Sabi Contractors regarding my service request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel. Reply HELP for help.
Crew/Technician Consent
Technicians and crew members opt in to receive dispatch alerts during employment onboarding. They receive the following disclosure:
“As a crew member of Wabi Sabi Contractors, you will receive text messages with job dispatch alerts, schedule updates, and crew notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or reply HELP for assistance.”
Consent is documented as part of the onboarding process.

Opt-Out Instructions
- Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe
- Reply HELP to any message for assistance
- Reply START to re-subscribe after opting out
After opting out you will receive: “You have been unsubscribed and will no longer receive messages. Reply START to re-subscribe.”
Data Privacy
Mobile opt-in data and consent information is not shared with or sold to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
