How We Obtain Consent
Customer Consent (Verbal — During Service Calls)
All customer consent to receive SMS messages is collected verbally during inbound phone calls to our service line. When a customer calls Wabi Sabi Contractors, our AI-powered dispatcher provides the following verbal disclosure before collecting any phone number:
“This call may be recorded and handled by an automated assistant. By providing your phone number, you consent to receive text message updates from Wabi Sabi Contractors regarding your service request, including technician ETA, arrival notifications, and job completion updates. Message frequency varies based on your service request, typically 3 to 8 messages. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP for assistance.”
This disclosure is read during every inbound call before any SMS messages are sent. The call recording serves as a record of verbal consent. Consent is logged with a timestamp in our system for compliance purposes.
Wabi Sabi Contractors does not collect SMS consent through web forms, paper forms, or employee onboarding processes. Verbal consent during inbound service calls is the only method by which customers opt in to receive text messages.

Opt-Out Instructions
- Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe
- Reply HELP to any message for assistance

After opting out you will receive: “You have been unsubscribed and will no longer receive messages. Reply START to re-subscribe.”
Data Privacy
Mobile opt-in data and consent information is not shared with or sold to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
